PINEVILLE ICE HOUSE CODE OF CONDUCT
Customers of the Pineville Ice House ("PIH") agree to abide by our PIH Code of Conduct.
ALL PARTICIPANTS & SPECTATORS
PIH may eject, suspend or ban participants or spectators for conduct that is deemed disruptive, reckless or dangerous, or for damaging or mistreating property or equipment. PIH may contact law enforcement to assist with these efforts.
ON ICE ACTIVITY
Participant conduct may not jeopardize the safety of other skaters, players, coaches, instructors, officials or rink staff. Do not threaten, harass or bully others, or compromise their experience and enjoyment of rink events. In hockey and figure skating, follow applicable rules and abide by norms of good sportsmanship. Respect teammates, coaches, officials and opponents.
AFFILIATE CODES OF CONDUCT
Many events and programs at PIH are regulated by USA Hockey and US Figure Skating. Where applicable, hockey and figure skating participants - including parents, spectators, coaches and officials - agree to abide by USA Hockey Rules and Codes of Conduct, USA Hockey Safe Sport, US Figure Skating Code of Conduct and US Figure Skating SkateSafe.
PINEVILLE ICE HOUSE LIABILITY WAIVER
UNDERSTANDING, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
By enrolling in and participating in any event at the Pineville Ice House, Participant understands that he/she attending the programs and using the Pineville Ice House and the facilities does so at his/her own risk.
Risk of Injury or Death - The risk of injury from the activities involved in ice skating, figure skating, hockey, other ice sports and and related off ice activities is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death. While rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist.
Risk of Contracting a Disease, Virus, Cold, Flu or Other Illness - Our facility is open to the general public year round, and our facility draws customers from across the United States and from other countries. When you enter our facility or are anywhere on our premises, you are at risk of contracting a disease, virus, cold, flu or other illness from exposure to general conditions or other people.
You are Liable - The Pineville Ice House is not liable for any injury caused by ice skating or any other activity on or off the ice, inside or around the facility, or anywhere within property limits. We are not liable for any disease, virus, cold flu or other illness contracted while on our premises.
Medical Care - If you are injured while at this facility, we may provide first aid supplies and care, or we may call for an ambulance. We offer no guarantees or assurances around the quality, availability or timeliness of such care. You have the right to refuse any care offered.
Medical Expenses - You are responsible for all expenses incurred to treat injuries including ambulance charges, hospital visits, doctor visits, and any other short or long term costs related to treating and rehabilitating from an injury. We pay no customer medical expenses, insurance deductibles, or ancillary costs.
Authorization To Act - The Participant, Parent or Guardian grants authority to the staff and coaches at the Pineville Ice House to render a judgment concerning medical assistance or hospital care in the event of an accident or illness during my absence.
HOLD HARMLESS - The Pineville Ice House and its owners, employees or agents, shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever arising from any personal injury or property loss sustained by participant with his/her family in or about any programs on the premises. Participants, parents and/or their legal guardians assume full responsibility for all injuries and damages which occur in or about any programs on the premises. Participants, parents and/or their legal guardians fully and forever release discharged hold harmless Pineville Ice House, all associated facilities and its owner, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages or rights of action, present or future resulting from any person’s participation in any programs or use of the facility. Parents or legal guardians consent to these terms and conditions on behalf of minors in their custody. This consent is binding even if the parent or guardian is not on premises with the minor.
RULES AND CODES OF CONDUCT - Participants, parents and/or their legal guardians agree to follow Rules and Codes Of Conduct posted in the rink, electronically or in any other written communication, or communicated verbally by staff and coaches. Failure to do so may result in suspension from participation.
RELEASE FOR USE OF LIKENESS - Participants, parents and/or their legal guardians authorize the Pineville Ice House and its assigns to utilize appropriate event or program related photographs, pictures, videos or other likeness of the Participant in its promotional materials such as website pages, social media, team videos and printed material.
CANCELLATION POLICIES - The undersigned parent or guardian/participant has reviewed, understood and agrees to rescheduling and cancellation policies associated with the program, event, product or service purchased with this online registration.
ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE CONSENT
